I think it would be hard to decide. We think now... hell yea, we would. but...... If all that pressure was on you it would be tough. You'd have to weigh the pros and cons:
pros
living forever
being a certain age forever
being eternally gorgeous
being extremely fast
being extremely strong
being super-talented(maybe with extra abilities!)
super sight
super hearing
super balance

cons
leaving behind family &friends
seeing your friends and family die
having an eternal lust for blood (pain-ful!)
having horrid red eyes or unatural yellow eyes
having to hold back your lust to kill every human you pass
laying low so no one really finds out your a vampire
resisting breaking everything you touch
having to walk at boring old human speed
being. a. monster.

So, they weigh themselves out. Point proven

I agree with your concern about this, but...I mean; who wants death, when you can live forever? Always being the same age would not bother me. And it would actually be cool, because when you graduate 1 High School, you go to the next in a different area. I mean, Edward COULD have left Bella in Forks when they graduated but he didn't. Their going to have a baby Reneesme, and Bella's going to be turned into a vampire...every girl's dream right? But my answer, is that I WOULD like to become a vampire.
